SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC)

SAP BPC stands for SAP Business Planning and Consolidation. It is a unified planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation solution designed to support performance management and decision-making across an organization.

SAP BPC has been around for many years, and although SAP have committed to support SAP BPC to 2040, it is not getting any innovations or major product updates from SAP. Therefore, most SAP customers are opting for SAP Analytics Cloud for their planning requirements and Group Reporting for any Financial consolidation. If you have BPC and are not sure when or how to transition, then please get in touch.

SAP BPC is available in two primary versions:

  • SAP BPC for SAP NetWeaver (embedded in SAP BW or BW/4HANA)
